The Engineering Department offers a unique opportunity in the field of geotechnical / hydro technical engineering at the position of:
HYDRO ENGINEER
| Responsibilities: Ensures safely and environmental-friendly operation of the tailing ponds; Monitors, organises and coordinates the preventive maintenance of facilities that are part of Aurubis environmental program; Manages/participates in projects related to the environmental program of Aurubis Bulgaria; Leads inter- and intra-company audits in his/her field of expertise; Keeps abreast of new technologies and best practices in the area of (tailing) storage facilities; Prepares technical specifications for tenders; Audits and drafts conclusions on construction objects in design phase. |
Requirements: Education: Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with emphasis in water resources, hydraulics or hydrology; Deep knowledge in the area of tailing storage facilities, environmental requirements and relevant Bulgarian legislation; In-house or advisory role in the field of construction and operation of tailing ponds; Experience with hydrologic / hydraulic modelling and construction; Project management skills; English language knowledge and computer literacy (MS Office, AutoCAD) An international exposure to business would be important. |
