In the tender for lot 4 of Trakia highway bids were placed by 13 participants opened on 8 June by a commission presided by Desislava Stefanova, director of Public Procurement and PPP with the Road agency.

The results of the work of the jury and the review of the technical offers are expected within 45 days, the next step is opening of the price bids.

According to the chairman of the Managing Committee of Road Infrastructure Agency Bozhidar Yotov the schedule is for the building works to start in Sept.

37 bidding papers were bought by participants, bids were submitted by 7 June.

Lot 4 is 47.7 km long from км 276+200 to км 325+280 with preliminary price of BGN 247,000,000 and execution deadline 28 months. The participation guarantee is BGN 1,540,000.

In the tender for lot 2 from Stara Zagora to Nova Zagora there were 8 participants, for lot 3 - from Nova Zagora to Yambol - 11. The funding is by Transport operational programme from the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
