The price bids were opened on 18 June, they are Hut-Stanilov consortium with BGN 174,007,250 VAT excl. and partial annual operational costs BGN 9,427,494, and Sadinata-MBT consortium with a price of BGN 200,511,691 VAT excl., partial operational costs BGN 9,828,899.

The results of the jury are expected to be announced by 15 June.

The operational costs have a significant role with the assessment of the bids aiming to guarantee an economic technology for the metropolitain administration.

The price for the design-build project cannot be increased after the conclusion of the contract.

The project indicative value is BGN 229m with a deadlime for execution of 24 months.

The remaining seven bidding participants were eliminated due to administrative, technical and financial irregularities that will be announced later.

The deadline for bids was 17 June.
