With 9 projects in 4 metropolitain areas Sofia municipality will apply by Environment operational programme for this programme period 2007 - 2013. For the next year are planned 11 projects in 8 Sofia zones.

This was announced by the dep. mayor for investments and construction Irina Savina presenting the investment programme of the administration for this and next year as well as the projects to start construction in the months to come.

In May - June there will be results for the extension of ISPA programme added Savina. This was expected to be known during the monitoring committee of the programme in April.

In 2012 there will be no single zone in Sofia with no sewerage under construction. This year the focus will be on the territories for Novi Iskar, Kremikovtsi and Bankya where there is no sewerage network.

The investment programme of Sofiiska voda includes 25 km of new water supply pipelines and 18 km of sewers. In 2010 the investments will amount to BGN 50m, some EUR 50m will be invested in sewerage construction by ISPA.
